It is a pleasure to invite you to the Civic Accelerator Entrepreneur Pitch and Showcase, a joint venture between Points of Light and Village Capital, for an evening of inquiry and interaction with the 2012 - 2013 Civic Accelerator cohort. You will join other hand-picked successful entrepreneurs, civic leaders, investors and philanthropists for conversation with the most innovative civic start-ups in the country. About the Civic Accelerator
Points of Light and Village Capital have partnered to create the Civic Accelerator, which invests in startups that engage people to use their time, talent, voice and money to build stronger communities. We help entrepreneurs launch innovative solutions by providing mentoring, peer support, entrepreneurial education and investment as part of an intensive 12-week program. The Civic Accelerator is made possible by PwC Charitable Foundation Inc. and Starbucks Coffee Company.

The Civic Incubator, a division of Points of Light, serves as a catalyst for innovation by supporting, investing and helping to grow the impact of social entrepreneurs and their civic ventures through several programs including the Civic Accelerator.
Village Capital provides opportunity to enterprises improving their communities and the world. Over 250 entrepreneurs have gone through 14 Village Capital programs worldwide, and Village Capital has enabled over $2 million in investment directly into companies through a unique model where the entrepreneurs themselves select investment.
